Analog and Start / Stop
For 4–20 mA or voltage outputs, confirm supply, wire count, output direction, endpoints, fault indication and controller input impedance. Start / Stop needs propagation-speed calibration, pulse-level (differential / single-ended), timing and controller compatibility checks.
SSI: code, bits and timing
Specify Binary or Gray code, total bit count, position bit allocation, clock frequency and pause time. Resolution is the output increment; it does not establish absolute accuracy or hydraulic control bandwidth.
Industrial Ethernet and CAN networks
Provide the PLC / motion controller model, bus cycle and device description requirements. PROFINET GSDML, EtherCAT ESI, CANopen EDS and J1939 messages are protocol-specific. A shared bus name is not proof of interchangeability.
Multi-magnet position measurement
Confirm supported magnet count, minimum separation, position identity, update period and fault behavior. Not every analog channel or network variant supports the same multi-position function.
